USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Course

 

Welcome to the HTK Training Center, conveniently located in Downtown Lake Worth Beach, where we offer the highly acclaimed "USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals" course. This comprehensive training program exceeds the state requirements for obtaining your Florida Concealed Carry Permit, providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible firearm ownership.

 

Our course covers a wide range of crucial topics to ensure you receive a well-rounded education in self-defense. We prioritize firearms safety and maintenance, empowering you to handle firearms responsibly and keep them in optimal condition. Additionally, you'll learn how to develop a personalized protection plan, tailored to your unique circumstances.

 

Our expert instructor, Coach Jose, a USCCA Training Counselor, Certified Instructor, and Range Officer, will guide you through defensive marksmanship techniques and malfunction drills. Understanding the legal use of force is paramount, and we dedicate time to thoroughly cover this topic. You'll also stay up to date with the latest gear and gadgets, keeping you informed about advancements in the field.

 

In this lesson, Coach Jose will introduce you to various types of self-defense firearms, including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform. He simplifies complex terminology, making it accessible and understandable, even for those new to the subject. Our goal is to demystify firearms, eliminating the perception that it's a topic reserved for experts.

 

To participate in the course, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

 

- You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.

- Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

- No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for domestic violence.

- No history of drug or alcohol abuse.

- Not under a restraining order for violence.

- No adjudication of incompetence.

- You must demonstrate competency with a handgun, including safe handling, loading, unloading, and firing.

 

Course Specifics:

 

- Class Length: 5.5-6.5 Hours

- Tuition: $135.00 (includes textbook)

 

During the course, we dedicate time to classroom instruction, dry fire exercises, and live fire range qualification. Rest assured, we provide the necessary firearms for training, ensuring a seamless learning experience. Ammunition for the class is also provided. However, please bring your own eye and hearing protection as they are not provided. We supply targets, so no additional supplies are required.
